The Halyard Liverpool, Vignette Collection

We first stayed here shortly after they opened last year and had a wonderful experience. Eighteen months on, it’s clear they’re still doing everything right. From the gentleman on the check-in desk to the friendly chats with staff in the lift (a special hello to the lovely housekeeping manager), the service feels genuinely warm and welcoming throughout. We stayed in a top-floor room with a balcony, beautiful views and a large bath. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room itself was perfect — thoughtfully designed and spotlessly clean. I’m already planning a return visit on a summer’s day, sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for a couple of nights recently, and we had a great experience. Amazing welcome and customer service from the minute we walked through the door. Check-In was quick and easy, the room was modern with a super comfortable bed and a great shower! We had a room facing the main road and we didn't hear any road or neighbouring noise. The location is perfect for exploring Liverpool, with plenty of excellent bars and restaurants within a short walk away. The customer service at the hotel mirrored Liverpool in general, it's my first proper visit but it's easily the most friendly city I've been to in England! We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Liverpool.

As a family of five across two rooms we had an absolutely fantastic two night stay in the Halyard. It is modern and extremely stylish with excellent rooms and facilities but what really sets the hotel apart is the friendliness and helpfulness of the service and hospitality on offer. Each and every member of staff goes out of their way to offer a genuinely warm welcome and to provide absolute top quality service. For the rates that are charged, this hotel is an absolute steal and we would definitely stay there again. The location is great, on the edge of a vibrant area with many restaurants and bars (but don't worry about the noise, the rooms are very well insulated and glazed) and also a short walk from the shopping at Liverpool One and the interesting and historical docks area. Thanks to the staff at the Halyard for a wonderful stay.

We stayed with our 11-month-old puppy on her very first hotel and city break, and the experience couldn’t have been better. The hotel is stunning; beautifully decorated and spotless throughout. The room layout was really unique and refreshing (though the light switches took a moment to figure out). And the location is within perfect walking distance of everything the city centre has to offer. Food and drinks were delicious, and the service was genuinely second-to-none. Our dog was really looked after, with a bed and bowls in the room and plenty of treats during our stay - she was treated like a little VIP guest. A huge shout-out to Ella, who we met on our second night. She was so warm and kind, especially with our dog, and when she learned we were there for my 30th birthday, she surprised us with a voucher for two free drinks, which was a really thoughtful and memorable gesture. It's worth noting before you stay here that a service charge is added to food and drink, but the service was outstanding, so it was more than justified. A truly fantastic stay: stylish, welcoming, and incredibly dog-friendly. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience staying at this hotel. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and the location is excellent. The restaurant attached to the hotel has great food and service too. I would highly recommended staying here if you are planning a trip to Liverpool!

Beautiful, modern hotel. From the moment I arrived, every member of staff I encountered was friendly, attentive and professional, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. I’d especially like to mention Ella, who came over to assist during my check in and her calm, patient demeanour really stood out. She handled everything with confidence and professionalism, which made a great first impression. Kerry also deserves special recognition for efficiently resolving a minor issue I experienced. Both are excellent ambassadors for the hotel. Thanks to the hotel’s beautiful aesthetics, exceptional service and excellent location I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

Had a fantastic one-night stay here (17-18 Feb). The lady on reception on Tuesday evening was lovely - gave us an idea of where we were on arrival and even went to check our room for my wife’s bag as she couldn’t remember if she took it out with us. Hotel was in a great location, smelled lovely and rooms were modern, well thought out and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was great, but you had to order coffees etc. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Everyone I met during my stay was very friendly and helpful, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere throughout the hotel.
